Performed annual cooling maintenance on 2) 2001 Rheem split systems. FAUs are located in attic. Replaced 2) 20x20 filters located in ceilings. Followed sequence of operations and checked voltage, amperage, capacitor, hard start kit, temperature split, Freon levels, and rinsed condenser coils. Cleared condensation lines from outside termination. Compressors are running near/at max amps. Freon levels are okay, system showing signs of inefficiencies due to age and condition. Informed to client replacement is recommended. Client to advise. Thermostats checked out okay. Client renewed HFCP paid via CC. Systems are working in cooling at this time of service.

Performed ac cooling maintenance in 2019 American Standard package unit on roof. Replaced 24x24 ceiling filter. Honeywell 6000 thermostat working properly. Cleared condensation drain. Cleaned out electrical compartment. Cleaned condenser coils. Checked amps, volts, capacitors, and temperature split (19/20). Inspected evaporator coils and blower wheel for cleanliness.

Replaced circuit board, put new thermal paste on, installed EEPROM chip. (Holds all system data, ie capacity, sensors, tonnages, etc) old board didn’t have one. This is the chip that needed programming, after installing, old fault code gone, turned on unit from indoor unit, no error code anymore. Outdoor unit not running, led green on. Red and yellow off, this is E470 EEPROM data error (no data) was on home for 30 minutes with tech support, put my phone number in so they’ll call me as soon as it’s my turn.
