Performed a cooling maintenance on 2 2024 American Standard Platinum series condenser, condenser #PFJF located on back side of home and condenser #13JF on right side of home, filters located in hallway ceiling , change filters, flushed condensation line through jones valve, on condenser check for amperage and voltage, check for compressor, check for freon level, check for temperature split everything within range, also clear out dust accumulated inside electrical component area and rinsed condenser coil. Both systems are working within specification in cooling at the time of maintenance. (Also serviced ductless unit)

Equipment working on arrival. Circuit board continues to fail intermittently. Verified proper voltage and sequencing of operation. Advised will need to replace circuit board and limits.

Gave client eta on compressor

Replaced filters and executed a refrigerant circuit diagnostic on main split system. Client requested no service on 2 ton system. In an attempt to cut power to main condenser, I found disconnect box to be extremely tight (high probability to destroy disconnect box). Condenser takes a 50 amp fuse, but the only breaker that was 50A was labeled "solar panels". Gave client the option to pull disconnect box with the risk of breaking it, or using solar panel breaker (highly probable that service panel is mislabeled). Client opted to forgo the remainder of the maintenance. Client will have us out for electrical work and 2 ton split unit replacement at a later date.

Performed a cooling maintenance on a Goodman split system unit. Check sequence of operations by checking out all electrical and refrigeration levels upon checking condenser unit on rooftop found run capacitor rated for 35 was getting 27 call the homeowner and explain the importance of replacing run capacitor. Client will let home warranty know at this time. System is cooling down the house finish maintenance by blowing out, condensation line, and changing out filter.

Quote to install a 30 gallon electric Bradford White "Low Boy" water heater. Includes city permits.

Replace dome sensor then tested. System cooling properly at this time.

Upon arrival find error code L0 and unable to cycle through Bosch system check. Cycled power off and test compressor insulation resistance. Recieved 0.7 ohms on all terminals at compressor and at circuit board. According to manufactures handbook this determines that compressor needs to be replaced. Will order compressor tomorrow during normal business hours.
